The terms “StandOut” or “StandOut Connect” or “StandOut Search” or “us” or “we” or “our” refer to StandOutSearch LLC, the owner of the Services. The terms “you” or “your” refer to the user or viewer of the Services.

Information Collection

In addition to the third-party content above, StandOut currently engages Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”) to help us analyze how users use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information that does not include your Personal Information to help StandOut evaluate your use of the Website, compile reports on Website activity and provide other information related to the Services and Website usage. Information Sharing

We do not ever sell your Personal Information for commercial purposes. We may share your information with third parties to facilitate your engagement with any programs you have qualified for. We may share your information with third party service providers that help us to run the Services or to facilitate the Services you obtain from us. We may share your information to monitor or improve our Services. We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Services, your information is protected both online and offline.

The computers servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

StandOut will make its best efforts to protect your information, but StandOut cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us or store on the Services, and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of StandOut’s physical, technical, or administrative safeguards.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

The Services are intended for general audiences 18 years of age or older. The Services are not directed to children under 13 years old. We do not target the Services to children under 13, and we do not intentionally collect any information from users under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information through the Services.     • StandOut does not disclose Personal Information to third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing purposes.

    • In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of Personal Information enumerated in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended (the “CCPA”):

      • Identifiers, including name, email address, phone number, and IP address.

      • Internet activity, including your interactions with our Website.

      • Employment and education data, including information you provide when you apply for a job with us or when you engage with the Services.

      • Inferences, including information about your interests, preferences and favorites.

    • You can designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. However, we will require written proof of the agent’s permission to do so and verify your identity directly.


  • Do Not Sell My Personal Information

    • StandOut does not sell Personal Information as the term “sell” is defined under the CCPA.


  • Right to Non-Discrimination

    • You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of any of your rights.

Additional State Disclosures

Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah each provide their state residents with rights to:

  • Confirm whether we process their Personal Information.

  • Access and delete certain Personal Information.

  • Data portability.

  • Opt-out of personal data processing for targeted advertising and sales.

Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia also provide their state residents with rights to:

  • Correct inaccuracies in their Personal Information, taking into account the information's nature processing purpose.

  • Opt-out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

International Users

The Services are hosted in the United States and are intended primarily for visitors located within the United States. If you choose to use the Services from outside the United States or in a jurisdiction with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from the laws of the United States, you hereby authorize and consent to the transfer of your Personal Information outside of such region and to the United States, or any other jurisdiction to be determined in StandOut’s sole discretion, for data storage and processing purposes.

While StandOut does not specifically target its Services to individuals outside of the United States, it understands that certain Website visitors may be considered “data subjects” for whom the processing of Personal Information would normally be subject to REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) or the U.K. General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) (each, a “Covered Person”).

While StandOut is not subject to GDPR or the UK GDPR because it does not target its Services to individuals outside of the United States, it voluntarily offers Covered Persons the rights described below:

  • Right of access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing: The user may obtain access to the user’s Personal Information stored by StandOut. If StandOut processes or uses the user’s Personal Information, StandOut shall endeavor to ensure, by implementing suitable measures, that the user’s Personal Information is accurate and up to date for the purposes for which it was collected. If the User’s Personal Information is inaccurate or incomplete, the user may obtain the rectification of such Personal Information. The user may obtain the erasure or restriction of processing of the user’s Personal Information in situations where no legitimate business purpose exists, or the further storage is unnecessary.

  • Right to data portability: The user may receive the Personal Information about such user that the user has provided to StandOut, in a structured, commonly-used, and machine-readable format or transmit this information to another controller.

  • Right to object: The user may object, on grounds relating to the user’s particular situation, to the processing of the user’s Personal Information. To the extent the user’s Personal Information is processed for reasons other than direct marketing, the user understands and agrees that StandOut has compelling legitimate reasons for information processing, such as providing access to StandOut’s Services. The user may use ad-blocking software to limit information capture and usage. Making a request does not guarantee that the request will be honored.

  • Right to withdraw the user’s consent: If the user consented to the collection or processing of the user’s Personal Information, the user may withdraw the user’s consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
